LIMITATIONS DON'T LIMITS YOUR TALENT

Entrepreneurial Lessons from the Movie ‘JOY’
‘You will never succeed at one night or without facing any kind of problem in your life, this is the life rule and everyone pay for it ’

Being an entrepreneur is not about only hard work but also staying loyal as well as love your product and love it like your own. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, but what seems easy that actually difficult in real life. I really love the movie, at first I heartily saying – I felt boring but after 1 hour, 5 minutes I feel interesting especially when she started working for her own made product called MOP. There are so many great lessons, both for life and for business we can learn from this movie.

Joy a character, which may be very difficult for a woman to start her business by own within so many odds, if we consider our Indian woman I think it’s quite difficult or can say I rarely found any successful business woman after marriage but this movie broke all the stereotypes, she faced lots of barriers, negativity, challenges and mockery as she attempted to launch her idea for a new floor mop.

The movie was that it is a true story – it is about real life – it is relatable to those of us in business.

SOME KEY BARRIERS SHE FACED AND WE ALL HAVE TO FACE IN BUSINESS:

Limitations:
We all have limitation in our lives, especially when you are a woman or girl , it mostly valid for all countries , from Indian perspective if you are a girl from an Indian family then your job roles will be decided by your society , as for us our status and our prestige matters, that’s why we choose to do those works where we can get both prestige as well as money, this is the bitter true fact. Especially in India we still in close mind-set that girls or women are born to do certain work not all, but now in 21th century slowly and gradually breaks all the stereotypes. Joy recognized there were limitations and boundaries with respect to her invention; she moved ahead anyway. She was constantly bombarded with the limiting beliefs of others around her. She was very clear on her mission as well as vision statement not as a professional way but she knew what she wanted to take to the market and why. Don’t let your limitations set you back from achieving something great. What limitations are you hearing from others and are you letting that hold you back? , if yes then you can’t be rise ever in your life. This is bitter true fact.

Rationalization:
There are many words in the dictionary to avoid our problems but there is one solution in every problem and there is one word in dictionary which can solve your problem is – TAKE RISK. Sometimes being tired, feeling sick, or having a bad day could be justification for avoiding something or postponing a day at work not for every day, a true dreamer beat all these to make his/her dream true. It could be the rationale for quitting or pushing off your goals for some time in the future. It could also be your motivation for turning things around, to overachieve despite your less desirable situation. You make the decision to either fall victim to outside circumstances or utilize them for your betterment.  Where are you letting minor illness or bad days influence your commitment to the work you know you are here to do?

Perception:
We don’t get or things don’t happen, what and how we perceive, Things do not always play out the way in which they were intended. Your goals will never fall into your lap until unless you give up, better- you need to go out and make them happen. You can either view the world as a scary, mysterious place, which took you from your dreams and holding you down, or you can perceive it as a means of endless opportunity. Either way, your perception will give you the wing to fly in the sky. When Joy was given the opportunity to have her mop sold on QVC TV and the host failed in his sales presentation, resulting in NO sales even he is the number one seller in market as a seller who can sell ice-cream to skim, he/she called as best seller not who runs the already best product with best environment but she didn’t stop there. She knew how it can be done as she believed in her product, finally she make it and it became huge success. Are you always focusing on your fears and failures or keeping an eye on possibilities and opportunities, that’s depends on you?

Attitude toward Failure:
No one can be the kind over night or no one can be millionaire in one night , it need 1000s of sleepless night to make our dream true , and I always believe -No one goes through life undefeated , that’s the only reason I NEVER EVER GIVE UP. Our failure is what generates excellence. It is how we learn, grow, and better position ourselves for success. When we failed in something, we have an option left that is excellence, that’s what I personally learn from my life, you have the option to let failure discourage and intimidate you, or further ignite your flame. Joy faced failure after failure after failure in the launch of hew new product to patient finally her hope prevailed. She found a way up in the failures and the obstacles. Are you making your experience to help you to become a successful business personality or destroy it?

Sacrifice:
No achievement comes without sacrifice. Successfully working towards a goal requires that you give up the things that aren’t contributing to its outcome. This can be difficult, sometimes you have to give up your enjoyful life like family, friends and parties. Sacrifice defines you in what extent you love your dream. It is your decision. Is your desire to win stronger than your desire to indulge yourself with the many temptations that surround you each day?
Joy was at the very desperate end when it came to finances, health, hope, support and so much more as she love her dream more than anything else. She sacrificed everything. Yet she prevailed.
This is when, as an entrepreneur, you are truly tested. More than any other time, it is when you must have the strength and self-confidence to know that you can bring your vision to life. Fail …. Win, Champions aren’t made on race day.
Are you weathering the storm? Are you expecting overnight success?
If yes, you can’t be successful for longer period as no success is possible if you never face the sleepless night?

Be your own hero: With your business, you should never stop pushing and networking. It’s easy to give up when everyone around you tells you that “it won’t work” or “you can’t do it.” It takes guts, creativity and drive to go from business survival to success. Ultimately, when you have enough faith in yourself, you’ll be as unstoppable.

Dos and Don’ts from the movie “JOY”
Do:  Have a great idea.
Don’t:  Let investors dictate business decisions.
Do:  Have a great support network. .
Don’t:  Work with vendor’s sight unseen.
Do:  Be yourself.
Don’t:  Stint on legal help.
Do:  Persevere.

Surround yourself with people who are succeeding in business and who will support you. It makes all the difference in the world – and you deserve no less!

some are the best part of the movie or i can say dialog , which i just want to share -

Yes, this is what every woman should think , she should go for their special power than acquire a prince . where she don’t have any identity than indemnify by someone else. Even you are a princess , still make your own identity should be the first priority . that’s what my believe is -

We have a talent which we can’t identify by ourselves until unless someone prompt us , like in everyday we meet many ordinary people with extraordinary talent . one talent always praise another talent .

This is called subliminal effect , this is how our subconscious mind make us to think about only one brand .

When you recognize someone’s hidden talent and you can smell the success from their appearance but sometimes they need proper guidance as well filed to explore themselves.c
